Starting this week, The Carolina Mask Project will be working with the #CLTgivePPE project for the management of the sewn mask requests. You can participate in their donation drives all month long at various Goodwill locations. They will be forwarding requests for masks through the #CarolinaMaskMakers moving forward and sending volunteers to the website to register.

In addition to the handmade pleated-masks, they are accepting vital PPE donations. So if you have gloves, masks, goggles or face shields be sure to stop by and drop off some donations. See the image below for a list of all requested items. You can donate your unused items at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus on Wilkinson Blvd. and the Goodwill Ballantyne location every Thursday and Saturday from 12-4pm.

The #CLTgivePPE public donation drives are accepting handmade masks based on this pattern:

Follow #CLTgivePPE on Facebook and Instagram, and be sure to check your sheds and basements for any items that you might be able to donate. For more donation drives, visit our Public Drop-Offs page where you can donate a variety of items, including handmade masks, directly to the requesters.

To learn more about how to make your own masks visit the mask making page and if you’d like to register to volunteer, we’d love to have you join our team!
